A yard for people who lay stone
Brackmoor Stoneworks is a fictional stone merchant, built for this portfolio to show how a trade catalogue works on Shopify. The premise is a yard that sells natural stone, lime mortar and hand tools to the trade and to people doing the work themselves.
Nothing here is for sale and nothing ships.
The catalogue is short on purpose. Setts are sold by the square metre as laid, mortar by the 25kg bag and tools by the set, so the unit on the page is the unit the job is measured in.
Delivery terms sit on every product page. A pallet of stone costs what it costs to move, and that belongs in front of the buyer before checkout, not after it.
The voice is a trade counter, not a showroom. Short sentences, units and quantities stated plainly, and no claims the product page cannot back up. Specifications describe what a thing is and what it is for, and never quote a figure that has not been measured.

No. It is a fictional brand built as a portfolio demonstration. There is no company, no stock and no sale.
Who is it for?
The premise is the trade and serious DIY: people who know what a bolster is and would rather do the job once, properly.
Why so few products?
A short range, listed in the unit the job is measured in, shows how a catalogue should be built before it gets long.
What are the returns terms?
On the demo, sixty days on tools and unopened mortar. Cut stone is made to measure and is not returnable.
How does delivery work?
Stone goes on a pallet by kerbside delivery and tools and mortar go by courier. Free over £250 on the mainland, otherwise quoted at checkout by weight.
Can I pay on account?
